FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about a Surefoot fitting in Verbier.

How long does a Surefoot fitting take?

Just over an hour. In that time your feet are scanned at 538 points, your orthotics are milled on the CAD/CAM machine and your memory foam liner is injected. You walk out with a finished boot.

Is there a break-in period?

No. The memory foam liner forms an exact impression of your foot and fits perfectly from day one — zero days of break-in.

Do I need an appointment?

In peak season we recommend booking on +41 27 565 0678 or verbier@surefoot.com. Walk-ins are welcome subject to availability.

What does a custom ski boot cost?

The price depends on the combination of shell, orthotic and liner. The team will give you a complete quote before the fitting begins — call or drop by.

What happens during the fitting?

Four steps: a 3D foot analysis with 538-point pressure mapping, a personal assessment of your skiing style, CAD/CAM-milled orthotics, and memory foam liner injection.

Can my orthotics be used in other boots?

Yes. Your custom orthotics can be transferred into future ski boots — and your scan data stays on file.

Does Surefoot fit children and juniors?

Yes, our team fits skiers of all ages and abilities — from first-timers to racers.

Are the boots heated?

Optionally, yes. The Winterheat system integrates directly into the liner and delivers app-controlled heat with 10 temperature settings.
