The Surefoot System

If you feel like your skis have a mind of their own, come and see us — the message is getting lost between your foot and your boot. Four components, one result: every input reaches the snow.

The system

Why we can guarantee the fit

Our strength isn't one machine — it's the system. A 538-point 3D model of your foot. An orthotic milled from that model on Amfit CAD/CAM technology — the medical orthotics company Surefoot owns. Four versions of heated custom liner. And over 100 shell models from the leading manufacturers to build it all on.

Most shops sell you a boot and then try to make it fit. We work the other way: the system finds the boot that matches your foot — and because we pick it, the fit is our responsibility, not yours. That's what the Absolute Fit Guarantee stands on: free follow-up adjustments, and we don't stop until it's right.

Custom Ski Boots

Over 100 shell models from the leading manufacturers. We pick the shell for your anatomy and your skiing, then adjust it by hand until it disappears on your foot.

CAD/CAM Orthotics

Milled from EVA on a three-axis machine using your 3D scan data. They correct alignment, support the arch and distribute pressure evenly across the entire foot.

Foam-Injected Liners

Memory foam is injected around your foot, forming an exact impression within 3 minutes. No pressure points, no break-in, no heat lost to air gaps.

Winterheat System

Surefoot invented and patented the ski boot heater — Winterheat is the original. Bluetooth app control, 10 heat levels, up to 17 hours per charge. Every Surefoot liner ships heat-integrated: just add the batteries.

Heated custom liners

Four liners. One for your foot.

Surefoot is the only shop in Verbier offering heated custom liners — and there are four versions of the Contoura Heat line, so the choice follows your foot and your skiing, not the stock room. Think of the heating like air conditioning in a car: you don't use it every day, but the day you need it, it's a lifesaver, and the element is already built into every liner, so you can add the batteries now or any season later.

Contoura X Heat

The ultimate combination of comfort and performance — injection-moulded upper cuff and power-channel tongue. The liner many Surefoot fitters ski in themselves.

Contoura R Heat

For skiers who demand more from their boots: FlexFit™ outer material and a lower-volume shape, built for people in their boots 100+ days a year.

Contoura C Heat

A more relaxed fit with a softer composition and a lower, sculpted cuff, all-day forgiveness and more room to breathe at the calf. Nickname: The Aspen Comfort Extreme.

C Wrap

For larger calves and lower legs: foam injection around the foot plus a mouldable EVA wrap around the lower leg. A real fit for skiers traditional liners underserve.

The difference

CAD/CAM, not heat and hope

Every boot fitter in the Alps will offer you a "custom footbed". Almost all of them mean the same thing: a flat blank warmed in an oven and pressed to your sole. It's better than nothing, but it's not what Surefoot does.

Our orthotics are milled by a computer-controlled machine from a digital scan of your foot, the way medical orthotics are made. Milling from solid material means the support is engineered, not squashed into place: the arch height, the heel cup depth and the pressure distribution all come from your scan data, at a precision no oven can reach. And "medical-grade" isn't a figure of speech: the technology is Amfit's, built for podiatry and orthopedics since 1977, and Surefoot owns the company. It is a different category of product, and the comparison is easy to check: no other shop in Verbier mills orthotics. Everyone else heat-moulds. Is it overkill? Well, we just want the best, premium. It's what we ski with ourselves. We want the best day on the mountain.

The proof

538 points of data

The scan at the start of your fitting maps each foot at 538 points — length, width, arch profile, heel shape and how your weight actually sits when you stand as you do on skis. Those numbers drive the milling machine directly. Your scan stays on file, so replacement orthotics or a new pair of boots start from data, not from scratch.
