Every foot is unique. Our proprietary fitting process combines 3D technology, individual biomechanical analysis, and experienced bootfitter craftsmanship, in about 90 minutes.
You arrive in whatever socks you like and leave with a finished boot. There's no mould to send away, no second appointment, no waiting for parts: the scanner, the CAD/CAM milling machine and the liner-injection station are all in the store, and your boot is built around you while you're in it. You are at the factory.
Most fittings take about 90 minutes, sometimes longer if we need to do some shell work before we inject the memory foam. In peak weeks we recommend booking ahead on +41 27 565 06 78 — walk-ins are welcome whenever there's space at the fitting benches.
Nothing gets sent away. The scanner, the CAD/CAM milling machine and the liner-injection station all sit a few metres from the fitting bench. Your orthotic is carved and your liner is injected while you wait — and you walk out on the same boots you walked in to try.

Your fitting begins with a high-resolution 3D scan and our 538-point pressure map of each foot. This creates a precise topographical profile, the foundation for everything that follows.
Your Ski boot technician evaluates your skiing style, build, experience level, and goals. Whether you ski the steeps of Verbier or groomed runs elsewhere in the Alps, we match the boot to how you ski. Our average skier skis about a week a year.
Using your scan data, orthotics are milled from raw EVA blanks on a three-axis CAD/CAM machine. They correct alignment and distribute pressure evenly across your entire foot.
A gel-like memory foam is injected into the liner and solidifies in minutes. The result is a liner that is uniquely yours. No break-in period required.
The heart of the process is step three. A heat-moulded footbed — what most ski shops offer — starts flat and is pressed against your sole for a few seconds while it cools. It captures a rough impression of a foot under pressure.
A Surefoot orthotic starts as a solid EVA blank and is carved into the shape of your foot by a three-axis milling machine reading your 538-point scan. It supports the arch at skiing loads, holds the heel where the boot was designed to hold it, and spreads pressure across the whole sole instead of concentrating it. That's why the boots feel right on the first run — the geometry is right before you ever buckle in.
